King's River Worship Center is an Assemblies of God church seeking a passionate, Spirit-filled Worship & Associate Pastor to join our ministry team. After nine years of faithful service, our Worship and Associate Pastor is transitioning to plant a church in the Charleston area. We are prayerfully seeking the individual God is calling to help lead our church into its next season of ministry and growth.

Position Summary

The Worship & Associate Pastor will provide leadership for all aspects of worship ministry while serving as a member of the pastoral team. This individual should be a gifted worship leader, a shepherd at heart, and a ministry partner who is passionate about building Kingdom Family and helping people encounter Jesus through the presence of God.

Worship Ministry Responsibilities

• Lead contemporary, Spirit-filled worship services that create opportunities for people to encounter God.
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor in planning services and special events.
• Recruit, mentor, schedule, and develop worship team members and musicians.
• Oversee worship, media, and production ministries.
• Build a culture of excellence, authenticity, discipleship, and spiritual growth.
• Develop future worship leaders and ministry volunteers.

Associate Pastor Responsibilities

• Assist in preaching, teaching, and discipleship ministries.
• Provide pastoral care, visitation, and prayer support.
• Help cultivate a culture of Kingdom Family throughout the church.
• Support outreach initiatives and community engagement efforts.
• Encourage and equip ministry leaders and volunteers.
• Participate in weddings, funerals, and other pastoral responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• A vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Credentialed with the Assemblies of God or willing to pursue credentialing.
• Demonstrated experience leading contemporary worship in a local church setting.
• Strong vocal and musical abilities.
• A heart for discipleship, pastoral ministry, and team development.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A servant leader who embraces the mission of loving where it's messy, serving where it's needed, and helping people experience Kingdom Family.
• Agreement with Assemblies of God doctrine and values.

Compensation

Full-time salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
