An Invitation to Join What God Is Building at Bethel
Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Bethel. We recognize that discerning a new ministry calling is both exciting and deeply personal. Our prayer is that this packet will help you understand who we are, where God is leading us, and why we believe this is an extraordinary opportunity to invest in the next generation.
We’re not simply seeking someone to fill a position—we’re praying for the leader God is calling to help children, students, young adults, and families become lifelong followers of Jesus.
---
A Vision Worth Investing In
We believe the next generation matters today—not just tomorrow.
Children, students, and young adults are not the future of the Church; they are an essential part of the Church today. We envision a ministry where every child is known, every student is encouraged, every young adult finds community, and every family is equipped to grow together in Christ.
Our desire is to build a ministry that is relational, biblically grounded, welcoming to newcomers, and focused on making disciples who make disciples.
This is more than maintaining existing programs. It is an opportunity to help shape the culture and future of our church for generations to come.
---
An Opportunity to Build
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys building, developing, and growing ministry.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
· Develop a unified vision for children, youth, young adults, and families.
· Build meaningful discipleship pathways from early childhood through young adulthood.
· Recruit, equip, encourage, and mentor volunteer leaders.
· Create environments where young people experience authentic faith and community.
· Partner with parents and grandparents as the primary spiritual influencers in their homes.
· Develop outreach opportunities that connect new families with Christ and His Church.
· Collaborate with church leadership to help Bethel continue growing into a church that intentionally reaches the next generation.
We’re looking for someone who sees possibilities, embraces innovation, and enjoys creating ministry where relationships flourish.
---
Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is someone who:
· Loves Jesus deeply and leads from a vibrant personal faith.
· Has a passion for discipling the next generation.
· Thinks strategically while caring personally.
· Builds healthy volunteer teams rather than doing ministry alone.
· Equips others for ministry.
· Communicates well with children, students, parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
· Brings an entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to develop new ideas while honoring the church’s mission and values.
· Works collaboratively and enjoys serving as part of a healthy staff team.

Why This Matters
Every week represents an opportunity to change lives.
A child discovering God’s love.
A teenager choosing to follow Christ.
A college student finding biblical community.
A young family connecting with the church.
Parents gaining confidence to lead faith conversations at home.
The investments made today will influence families for decades to come.
