The Role

As Community Life Pastor, you will serve as the bridge between our mission and seeing our vision lived out by our people. You'll oversee our Growth Track discipleship pathway (moving people from Explore → Partner → Builder), develop missional community leaders, and coordinate with our Kids, Students, and cross-cultural ministry teams to create a unified approach to spiritual formation.

This is not a traditional "groups pastor" role. You'll be the architect of our entire community life strategy, creating pathways that move people from first-time guests to Kingdom Builders living on mission in the Airport Seven communities.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Growth Track Leadership - Execute and oversee our three-phase discipleship pathway, recruiting and training facilitators for each level
• Missional Community Development - Launch and support neighborhood-focused communities that pursue God, build relationships, and share hope in practical ways
• Cross-Ministry Integration - Partner with Kids, Students, Young Adults, and cross-cultural ministry leaders to align all efforts with our unified vision
• Outreach & Mission Mobilization - Lead local service projects, mission trips, and community engagement initiatives that activate our Kingdom Builders
• Pastoral Care Coordination - Work with our Care Team and Elders to ensure people receive appropriate support and pastoral attention
• Weekend Service Presence - Maintain strong Sunday connections with guests, volunteers, and church family to foster relational engagement. Also, assist as a part of our pastoral team with weekend messages, communion and generosity moments and lead Growth Track sessions.

You'll also supervise our Ministry & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator and serve as a key member of our pastoral staff team, contributing to overall church vision and health.

A Proven Leader – Experienced in recruiting, equipping, and empowering leaders and volunteers with empathy, compassion and discernment.

Passionate About Discipleship – Believes spiritual maturity develops best in relationships and is committed to seeing people transformed by the gospel.

Collaborative and Flexible – Thrives in team environments and adapts well to the dynamic nature of ministry.

Missional-Minded – Excited about moving beyond traditional small groups to missional communities that transform neighborhoods and workplaces.

What You'll Bring

• 3-5 years of pastoral or ministry leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, Ministry, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Ordination or willingness to pursue it
• Strong communication skills and teaching ability
• Heart for community and proven ability to build teams
• Systems thinking - ability to create and implement strategic processes
