Bi-Vocational Pastor

First Baptist Church of Milligan, Baker, Florida, is seeking a Bi-Vocational Pastor.

We are a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and a small rural church located in the Northwest Florida Panhandle.

Primary duties would include Sunday morning worship, Sunday evening worship, and Wednesday evening Bible study. Additional duties are community outreach, home/hospital visits, and pastoral counseling as needed. We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

Must meet the criteria in 1Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.

A 3-bedroom parsonage is part of the compensation package.

Qualifications:

-Experience with Bible Study and Discipleship to effectively support spiritual growth and education among church members.

-Strong skills in Pastoring, Pastoral responsibilities, and providing Pastoral Care to the congregation.

-Demonstrated ability to lead worship services and contribute to developing a nurturing and inclusive church community.

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for serving a diverse congregation.

-Ability to balance pastoral duties with other vocational responsibilities.

-Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field is preferred.

-Previous experience in ministry leadership is an asset but not required.
