Join us at Nags Head Church, where we are dedicated to revealing the glory of God for the good of people everywhere, with a special emphasis on building strong families rooted in faith.
Description
At Nags Head Church, we understand the profound impact of early spiritual guidance. As the Children's Director, you are entrusted with the sacred task of molding the spiritual foundation of our youngest attenders, ranging from toddlers to fifth graders. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that they not only grasp the core teachings of the Bible but also cultivate a genuine, enduring love for God that will guide them throughout their lives.
Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a nurturing environment where children feel a sense of belonging, are fortified against external pressures, and are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ. Recognizing the invaluable role of parents as primary spiritual mentors, you will also be tasked with empowering them and providing them with the resources and guidance they need to lead their children in faith.
Beyond direct interactions with the children, you will play a crucial role in the development and support of the adult children's team. By equipping them with the necessary resources, training, and continuous mentorship, you ensure that they are well-prepared to guide our children effectively, contributing significantly to their spiritual journey.
Your responsibilities also encompass the administrative facets of the children's ministry. From event planning and coordination with other church departments to budgeting and ensuring alignment with the church's overarching mission and vision, your organizational understanding will be key to the seamless operation of the children's ministry.
We envision this role as a collaborative force within the church, dedicated to laying a strong spiritual foundation for our children. Our aim is to nurture them into becoming steadfast and compassionate believers who ardently carry forth the Gospel's light.
