The desired candidate for the position should have a Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological seminary, unquestionable knowledge of the Bible and love for Christ, the ability to deliver inspiring biblically based messages that demonstrate how to live in today's world, the passion to bring people to Christ, and the heart to serve the congregation with compassion and empathy. Normal pastoral duties such as officiating at funerals, weddings, baptisms, overseeing events in the life of the church, etc. are expected. In addition, the Senior Pastor will preside over the church staff.
