Associate Pastor of Young Families/Discipleship

The Associate Pastor of Young Families is responsible for the spiritual leadership and development of the young families in our congregation. The end goal is a family who is actively engaged in worship, both corporately and privately, attending, participating and giving. The goal will be to have each family actively engaged in fellowship within the church.

We are looking for a candidate who...

• Education: College graduate from a Baptist college/seminary or a school with Baptistic distinctives.

• Prefer at least 5 years of direct ministry experience

• Prefer experience in churches of 200+

• Prefer training in Biblical counseling

• Expositional Bible teacher and preacher

• Provable track record of servant leadership

• Strong marriage and family life

• Blameless in sexual purity, financial responsibility, and anger management

• Self-motivated and disciplined in life and ministry

• Musical abilities would be a plus but not a deal breaker.

Hillcrest Baptist Church is a place where people care about people, especially their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. We are a church of 200 people, with ministries ranging from seniors, music, youth, etc.

Richmond is a community made up of approximately 35,000 people. We have a growing/thriving historic depot district, plenty of good places to eat (local and chain restaurants), an incredible, locally owned coffee bar called Roscoe’s, several community parks, and a 62 mile bike path, crossing five counties, called the Cardinal Greenway. There are several small shopping centers, and we are 40 minutes West of Dayton, Ohio and an hour East of Indianapolis, Indiana.
