Our Story

New Life (Newlife906.com) is a growing church in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan with a mission to reach our region for the Kingdom of God. Escanaba New Life Assembly of God (New Life Church) was started in the 1950’s and has been actively growing since then. We partner with our community in various ways including service projects, food distribution, free community events, concerts, and by supporting other local organizations that are effectively reaching their mission. In 2019, we started building a community center with a full size gym and large indoor playground that is nearly complete. This will be a huge tool in reaching and mentoring people (NLCC906.com). New Life has a large online gathering and an in person gathering of about 400 people.

The Opportunity

New Life is looking for someone with administrative gifts to lead the process of moving first time guests into healthy members. This process involves overseeing all connection points:

1. First impressions

2. Next step groups

3. Volunteer recruitment, training, and retention of NL Serve teams.

4. Small group ministry

5. Outreach events

This person will also be speaking on Sunday mornings approximately twelve times a year.

Experience and Qualifications Sought

Preference will be given to people who have at least a 4yr college degree and have ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God. This individual should be self-motivated with an administrative gifting and a proven track record of organizing, recruiting, caring for, and training people. Being able to enjoy a good cup of coffee is not absolutely necessary, but recommended.
