OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND COMMITMENTS

• Lead and foster a culture of worship at New Life Community Church.

• Lead and develop the worship team.

• Lead and direct a modern worship service on weekend and occasional special events that aims to touch a diverse church body.

• Develop the musicians at New Life Community Church.

• In adult, youth, and children's ministries

• Consistently growing and improving their musical abilities.

• Build relationships through connecting in the ministry.

• Encouraging them in their spirituality.

• Engaging people alongside the New Life Staff during weekend services.

• Make yourself available to pray with people.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A follower of Jesus who is fully committed to cultivating an overflowing inner life with Him.

• Actively involved in the life of the church and demonstrates servant leadership by promoting others above self in the church.

• Preferred 5 years’ experience as worship leader.

• Must uphold and support the core values and beliefs of New Life Community Church and commit to the mission and vision of the church.

• Proficient in guitar or piano and vocal performance.

• Proficient in leading a worship team in a congregational setting.

• Willing and able to recruit, equip, and lead a diverse team.

• Interpersonal and organizational skills to lead a group and be led. The ability to give and receive direction with grace and mercy.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Willingness to learn and grow spiritually, musically, and as a leader.

• Proficient in the use of ProPresenter, Planning Center, ATEM Switcher, Abelton, clicks, tracks, guides, and chord charts.

• Proficiency in administration, scheduling, planning, and organizing.
