SUMMARY

The Bay Church is seeking an experienced production expert to lead strategy, planning and execution as well as advancing the mission, vision, and values of The Bay Church.


Based in Concord, California, the Production Director will build and execute production strategies and guidance for weekend services, kids, youth, small groups, and compassion outreach, across all campuses. This role requires extensive collaboration across many teams, both internally and externally with contractors and vendors. We are looking for someone committed to continual development as a leader and mature Christ-follower.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • You possess extensive experience in live production - from strategy through execution and analysis of results.
  • You have passion for great work, you can see potential and nourish it and have a tremendous ability to educate and influence leaders to drive that work forward.
  • You can delve deep into The Bay Church to understand the church priorities and attendee insights, to understand challenges, find opportunities, and build a global production strategy.
  • Lead Production team on all pre-production needs for weekend services, such as building slides, programing lighting queues, etc.
  • Oversee Production team for live production, specifically with set-up and strike, lighting, camera operation, video directing, live streaming, and sound.
  • Collaborate with Creative Team (Production, Communications, Worship) to design our weekend services as well as driving continual innovation.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of all technical equipment for our auditoriums, classrooms, and small group meeting rooms.

DESCRIPTION

  • Develop deep understanding of The Bay Church, co-laborer’s, and the local market to help drive an innovative strategy for The Bay Church.
  • Work across the organization to understand both macro trends and Production specific insights, using available metrics and feedback.
  • Synthesize learnings into insights to drive optimization of future efforts and strategies. 
  • Develop and drive central processes, across The Bay Church campuses, to improve the quality and effectiveness.
  • Lead the development and delivery of Production workshops with staff and serving team members.
  • Work with the Production team, Worship team, Facilities and any outside contractors for
  • the purchase of technical equipment and installation.
  • Oversee quarterly fiscal planning to ensure budgets and resources are allocated to support The Bay Church Production initiatives.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree required.

About The Bay Church

The Bay Church in Concord CA was founded in a storefront in 1931, in what was at that time, the small rural town of Concord, California. The church has experienced much growth over the years and built successive buildings on Galindo Street, Clayton Road, and today our current site on Evora Road. 


In 2020, our members and the members from Harvest Time Assembly voted unanimously to merge the two churches. We officially became one church in two locations, and the next chapter of our future is now being created.
