Worship Pastor

Oversee planning, execution, and personnel for worship.

Work under Lead Pastor for service schedule.

Flexible with service schedule and altar response.

Be teachable, loyal, and faithful.

Play keyboard or guitar and be able to lead from instruments.

Provide a Spirit-led, powerful, and excellent worship experience.

Lead and direct band rehearsals and service run-throughs.

Ensure all worship arts and production team positions are filled through communication and utilization of Planning Center.

Provide set lists, chord charts, audio files, and notes in advance to enable proper practice and preparation.

Provide a God-centered and distraction-free worship experience through continual improvement and application of worship technologies.

Develop and maintain a song bank of theologically rich and singable songs.

Observe other church services and draw inspiration for improvements.

Network with worship pastors and leaders.

Build visual elements through ProPresenter (message notes, song lyrics, videos, backgrounds, etc.).

Build and edit worship set in Playback by MultiTracks.

Build and edit pre/post service Spotify playlist.

Assist in updates and maintenance of equipment.

Recruit, develop, and mentor worship arts and production team members.

Provide the opportunity for team members to attend conferences, events, and training sessions.

Maintain worship arts and production team documents to communicate standards and encourage excellence.

Provide musical direction to worship arts team members.

Provide pastoral care to team members.

Develop and disciple team members.

Collaborate with staff members to achieve a common goal.

Contribute and engage in staff meetings.

Be a team player.

Maintain, organize, and tidy all worship arts and production spaces.

Organize and label equipment.

Keep the Green Room and the Production Room stocked with coffee and snacks.

Ensure spaces are useable and comfortable for Dream Team members.

Personal Responsibilities

Prioritize Jesus first, your spouse second, your children/family third, and the ministry fourth.

Give at least 10% of your income to the vision of Emerald Coast Church.

Support the vision and staff of Emerald Coast Church.

Invest and invite people to know Jesus.

Be a continual learner.
