Summary of Position
This position is responsible for the leadership of production to deliver quality, seamless Inspire services and events at assigned campuses.
Primary Functions
- Maintains production technical systems for Gateway (focusing on 2-3 campuses) as determined by the Production Lead of Core Services
- Participate in weekly service technical run throughs
- Work with the Creative Arts Directors and the Campus Pastors to deliver high quality seamless production to each assigned campus by executing the plan outlined in Planning Center Online (PCO)
- Responsible for a quality video stream from North Campus for all Inspire services
- Work with the Production Lead of Core Services to maintain a high level of quality control by developing a centralized training system for Audio, Video, and Lighting
Secondary Functions
- Manages and updates inventory to the asset management system
- Assists the Production Lead of Core Services in design and construction of all set and stage designs
- Provides support for outside events (as needed and determined by paid contracts)
- Develops ways to build bridges to the technical arts community of Austin and surrounding areas
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications/Skills (a strong background in 3 or more skills listed below are required)
- Experience in lighting design, lighting tech, and lighting programming
- Experience in live audio engineering, audio systems management, and audio repair
- Experience in live video switching
- Experience with projection systems
- Experience with HD video systems management (campus to campus streaming)
- Experience leading volunteer teams
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience with researching and/or purchasing systems equipment
Spiritual Criteria
- Must have an intimate and growing relationship with Christ
- Must become a commissioned leader at Gateway Church (or be willing to if not currently commissioned)
- Model standards and expectations of commissioned leaders at Gateway Church
Working Conditions and other information
- Sunday through Thursday schedule with added responsibilities for holidays and special events as assigned
- Required attendance at all staff meetings
- Easter Weekend - all hands-on deck
- Christmas- all hands-on deck for our Christmas services and events
- Gateway Throwdown (Super Bowl weekend)- all hands-on deck
- Annual All Staff Retreat- dates are subject to change but typically fall sometime in May
- Annual Leadership huddle- dates are subject to change but typically fall sometime in August
- Attend all functions that we require of our Commissioned Core (i.e. Leadership Community, etc.)
