Ministry: Student and Worship
Role Title: Associate Pastor
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Purpose Statement: Create and establish systems, training, and oversight in Student and Worship ministries to further the church’s mission, visions, and values
Responsibilities Also Include:
· Attend staff meetings
· Meet with the Lead Pastor at least twice monthly for planning, dreaming, and prayer
· Junior High, Senior High, and Young Adult Ministries
· Worship Ministry
· Meet with, mentor, and coach people in their ministry areas or church
· Preach as needed, when able
· Be involved in the ongoings of the church
(Rough breakdown of weekly time 40% Worship, 45% Student and Young Adult ministries, 15% miscellaneous tasks)
Time Investment: Full-Time
Commitment: Ongoing
Prerequisites:
· Meets the requirement of an Elder as found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
· Has the heart to be a part of, shepherd, and care for the congregation
· In agreement with the church's doctrine, mission, vision, and values
· Has ministry training, preferably a Bachelor's degree
· Willing to be licensed in the Evangelical Free Church within the first 3 years of ministry
· Willing to be coached and seek further training as needed
