Living Hope Kids Coordinator

Qualifications:

•        An individual who exhibits a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, a teachable Spirit, and humility in relationships. 

•        An individual with basic experience in ministry, administrative skills, and a personal life aligned with the biblical principles of leadership.

•        Proficient with Microsoft Office software.  

•        An individual capable of supporting the vision and direction of the LH Kids Pastor.  

•        An engaging teacher and caregiver with a strong biblical background who is in agreement with Living Hope’s Statement of Faith.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Children's Ministry team, including data entry, database maintenance, and correspondence handling. 
• Volunteer Management: Coordinate and onboard volunteers for Sunday mornings and special events. 
• Event Planning and Implementation: Assist in planning and executing events, including special events like Vacation Bible School and holiday programs. 
• Resource Management: Order, organize, and maintain ministry supplies and materials. 
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with volunteers, parents, and staff. 
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of children's ministry participants and other relevant data. 
• Collaboration: Work under the direction of the LH Kids Pastor and coordinate with all church staff, primarily focusing on children's ministry. 

•        Other Duties as required.

Expectations:

•        Maintain a 20-hour work week with four hours weekly on Sundays and the remainder of hours as agreed upon with the supervisor. 

•        Attend weekly staff meetings. 

•        Meet regularly with your supervisor as requested. 

•        Attend services & special meetings. 

•        Submit to an annual job performance review.
