Director of Children's Ministries

Lakewood United Methodist Church seeks a full-time (average 30-40  hours/week) Director of Children’s Ministries.   Lakewood UMC is a vibrant church in North Little Rock, AR, with multiple worship services and numerous opportunities for discipleship. The ideal candidate will work well with Lakewood UMC’s staff and congregation and be a team player in fulfilling the mission of children’s ministries. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, an energetic personality, and self-motivation.

Qualifications include:

Love for Christ and working with others, especially children

Must be able to exercise initiative and judgment as an independent worker

Excellent communication abilities

Demonstrated leadership skills

Ability to lead a team of adults to provide ministry to Children

Highly organized

Adherence to Methodist/Wesleyan theology 

Bachelors Degree preferred

Minimum of three years of experience preferred
