Administrative Assistant wanted for Good News Church of Leesburg, FL. The Administrative Assistant will serve as the church receptionist; provide administrative support to the Staff and Ministries; execute financial duties as outlined in coordination with the Head Pastor and Treasurer; coordinate facility scheduling, maintenance and special events; order office, janitorial and building supplies; serve as the volunteer ministry coordinator, and partner with the staff and congregation in fostering a climate of hospitality and support. Reports to Head Pastor. Must be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Qualifications: Must have good communication skills and a positive, welcoming demeanor. This candidate must be a problem solver and self-starter, and must have data entry, typing and bookkeeping (QuickBooks) skills. The optimal candidate will have a High School diploma and preferably some college or professional school training as well as 3-5 years administrative office experience, and demonstrate Christian values. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
