Job description

Restore Christian Church is seeking a Kids Ministry Intern who has a genuine heart for children and a desire to explore and grow in their calling in ministry. This is a hands-on opportunity to serve, lead, and learn within a vibrant church community while being mentored by experienced leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and supporting Sunday Kids Ministry environments
• Build relationships with children and families
• Connect with parents and follow up with families throughout the week
• Help develop and implement a midweek program, outreach, or community connection initiative
• Support overall Kids Ministry operations and events

Learning & Development Opportunities

• Be mentored by Bryan and Caz Sands, experienced pastors with a passion for developing leaders
• Learn under Dr. Ericka Grant, a gifted educator and “teacher of teachers”
• Gain practical ministry experience in teaching, leadership, and relational discipleship
• Grow in personal faith, leadership skills, and ministry calling

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children
• Desire to grow in ministry and leadership
• Strong communication and relational skills
• Self-motivated, teachable, and dependable

This is a great summer opportunity for someone looking to gain real ministry experience in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. We are looking to fill this position by the end of June.

Paid $20 per hour for 8 hours per week, starting June 1 to Sep 1, 2026.

We are a brand new church plant that has only launched 2 months ago. Very early stages but an awesome opportunity to start a kids ministry from the ground up! Restore Church is a trauma-informed church, and we are passionate about helping people find and follow Jesus. We want to be known as a kind, loving, generous, and healthy community that helps people heal, especially from church hurt.
