About Us

Valley Fellowship Church is a multigenerational, independent, conservative Christian church with Baptist roots, averaging 130 in weekly attendance with over 70 years of impactful ministry in Buena Vista and Chaffee County. We are affiliated with Converge Rocky Mountain  and our mission is simple and compelling: to inspire people to follow Jesus.

We value outreach, intentional discipleship, authentic fellowship, meaningful community, and the faithful teaching of God’s Word and this is an exciting time of growth and renewal at Valley Fellowship.

Living in Buena Vista

The Buena Vista area represents one of the most spiritually needy regions in the United States. While the town is growing rapidly and attracting people from across the country, many remain disconnected from the gospel and the local church. This is a mission field rich with opportunity.

Valley Fellowship Church is positioned to make a meaningful impact by proclaiming biblical truth, loving our community well, and calling people to authentic discipleship. We are seeking a pastor who senses God’s call to labor faithfully in a challenging but rewarding spiritual environment - one where gospel clarity, relational ministry, and courageous leadership are deeply needed.

Buena Vista offers an exceptional quality of life with access to world-class outdoor recreation, vibrant neighborhoods, and a strong sense of community. From the nearby ski slopes to rafting adventures to hiking trails, Buena Vista and Chaffee County provides a healthy balance of family-friendly amenities, ministry opportunity and personal refreshment.

For pastors and families alike, Buena Vista combines natural beauty, a close-knit community, and thriving local economies - making it an outstanding place to live, serve, and build long-term ministry roots.
