Located in the Dominican Republic, Caribbean Mountain Academy exists to bring lasting hope to families in crisis. CMA allows struggling youth to step away for a time in order to find fresh perspective. The youth experience a new culture, serve in the surrounding impoverished communities, and enjoy beautiful waterfalls, beaches, and mountains. CMA staff support them throughout these new experiences, modeling the love of Christ and showering the students in love and prayer.

Job Description
Responsible to manage, lead, and supervise, students and mission teams (as needed) in conjunction with the Facility and Missions Managers while demonstrating a consistent pursuit of a relationship with the Lord.
Responsibilities
- Take the initiative to communicate with and report to the Missions Coordinator regarding off campus service projects
- Take the initiative to effectively communicate with and report to the Facilities Manager regarding on campus projects.
- Promote good relationships with those in the Dominican communities we serve
- Work with the youth on service projects training them in life and job skills.
- In conjunction with the Missions Coordinator maintain an awareness of community projects and upcoming missions teams
- In conjunction with the Facilities Coordinator maintain an awareness of all the ongoing campus projects and upcoming campus projects
- Work with short term missions team members in the community or on campus on various projects
- Communicate with the Treatment Team about the quality of each youth’s work on service projects
- Maintain financial records and fiscal integrity as required by Crosswinds.
- Responsible for the collecting of estimates for missions or campus projects.
- Lead weekly mission’s groups and student service projects within the community and on campus.
- Help provide appropriate supervision to students and missions teams
- Challenge students, teams, and staff to grow spiritually.
Qualifications
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- High School Diploma/GED
- References attesting to lifestyle consistent with Christian faith
- At least 21 years of age
- Must pass all background checks
- Exceptional people skills
- Problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or vocational equivalent
- Prior experience serving at-risk youth
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
- Participation on mission trips
- Prior construction or maintenance experience
