Worship Pastor

Job Title: Part-Time / Full Time Worship Pastor 

Worship Style: Pentecostal / Modern Contemporary (Bethel, Elevation, Maverick City influence)

Position Summary

The Worship Pastor will be the primary "architect" of our Sunday morning atmosphere. We are looking for a leader who is musically elite but pastorally minded—someone who can lead our church into deep encounters with the Holy Spirit using modern sounds and prophetic sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Spirit-Led Worship: Lead Sunday services with a focus on high-engagement, modern worship. You should be comfortable "lingering" in a song and leading spontaneous moments of praise.
• Modern Production Management: Oversee the use of Multitracks/Playback to ensure a full, modern sound.
• Tech Team Leadership: Oversee sound, lighting, proclaim, and live-streaming teams.
• Team Building & Discipleship: Recruit and audition musicians, singers, tech team members.
• Foster a culture of "Heart over Art"—ensuring the team is spiritually healthy and not just musically proficient.
• Develop Future Worship Leaders in fulfillment of our churches heart to be a sending church.
• Creative Collaboration: Meet weekly with the Lead Pastor to ensure the worship set complements the prophetic direction of the house.

The "Ideal Candidate" Profile

• The Heart: You desire to lead people into life changing worship and develop others to use their gifts to glorify the Lord.
• The Flow: You don't just "finish" a song because the lyrics on the screen ended. You know how to transition between songs and move into spontaneous "Selah" moments.
• The Tech: You are comfortable with (or willing to master) Community Church Builder, Proclaim, and Multitracks. You are also willing to learn and train the Tech Team.

Qualifications

• Musical Skill - Expert vocal ability; ability to lead from keys or acoustic guitar is preferred.
• Experience - 2+ years involved in a modern, Spirit-filled environment
• Leadership - Able to give clear, kind direction to volunteers during rehearsals.
