Rancho Murieta Community Church in Rancho Murieta, California is in search of a Student Ministries Pastor to work in harmony with the mission and vision of Rancho Murieta Community Church and provide oversight and direction to all ministries involving middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) students and families. This position will also include an aspect of continuing to grow and develop our digital ministry.
What you’ll be doing:
- Enlist and equip volunteer staff for key ministry roles
- Disciple and build relationships with students and families
- Lead preparation and execution of weekly programming and special events
- Oversee the administration of student ministries (i.e. budgeting, policies, coordinating ministry environments, enlisting & training leaders, etc.)
- Occasional preaching for worship services
- Digital ministry development
What you need to have:
- A love for Jesus and the ability to demonstrate that love to others
- Strong team building and administrative abilities
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Digital ministry experience
- Ability to manage and effectively lead volunteers
- High capacity teaching and interpersonal communication
- Working knowledge of standard office systems and equipment
- Strong team player
