Youth pastor is responsible for leading, discipling and teaching students ages 13-18 (Jr./Sr. High School) to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ and to create opportunities for growth and evangelism. The youth pastor will report directly to the Senior Pastor and will coordinate with him regarding planning calendar, youth camps and retreats.
Worship/Youth pastor position must Include:
A faithful follower of Jesus Christ
A clear call to the ministry
Supports and aligns with the SBC 2000 Baptist Statement of Faith
The ability to connect with people in a Christ like manner
Preferred Qualifications Include
College Graduate with focus on organizing, leading and directing a youth ministry.
Qualifications also considered
Candidates with some college
Some experience leading a student ministry.
