Job Overview: The Webmaster/E-Marketer will be responsible for web posting based on analytics & best practices while also analyzing & refining marketing & social media strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working with the Media Team under supervision of the Media Director & immediately reporting to the Digital Communication and Design Specialist to analyze, report, & implement a website & social media plan.
- Coding and data entry and updating the website & future mobile apps.
- Increasing traffic and awareness of websites through latest SEO techniques.
- Collaborate with the creative team to update the website and integrate with social media plans
- Taking design mockups and turning them into fully functioning webpages.
- Increasing conversion rate (subscriptions, donations, etc).
- Creating website analytics reports & making recommendations for improvement.
- Creating monthly social media analytics reports & making recommendations for improvement.
- Analyzing blog post analytics.
- Implementing SEO best practices.
- Working with the creative team.
- Coming up with creative ideas for reaching the intended audience.
- Meeting deadlines & working on multiple projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A True Christ follower with a heart for ministry, especially reaching the lost with the Gospel through media and technology.
- Fully able to understand & align with the vision and mission of the organization.
- A team player.
- Solid understanding of the culture, mindset, and current media trends in the Christian media world & constantly changing best practices in web & social media.
- Strong ability to strategize creatively & outside the box.
- Proven, effective communication skills & analytical mindset.
- Exceptional skill with analytics software & project management software; Google analytics, Basecamp, CMS, etc.
- Experience in native PHP, Bootstrap Framework, HTML, CSS, JS, RESTful API, CURL, a plus
- Must be a self-motivated, quick learner with a drive to grow professionally.
- At least 3 years experience in websites and SEO.
- Experience in web-based fundraising is a plus.
