Family Owned Small Business looking for Full-Time, Full-Charge, Bookkeeper - Desire in-house but will consider remote
Responsibilities will include full-charge day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, author royalty reporting, Accounts Payable and Receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations,
filing monthly Department of Revenue returns, and preparing financial reports for management.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & abilities:
*5+ Years of Accounting experience
*QuickBooks Proficiency
*Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Internet applications
*Skill in time management and work organization
*Ability to assist authors, customers & vendors and exhibit good interpersonal skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure that deadlines are met
*Ability to work well in team settings
Strong work ethic
*Strong ability to take initiative and self-start when necessary
*Strong analytical skill
*Willingness to model company’s core values
