First Baptist Prattville seeks a full-time Communications Director. The Communications Director helps provide vision and oversight for churchwide messaging and also facilitates ministry-specific messaging. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining the church website through a content management system; creating a strong social media presence across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube; facilitating graphic design, photography and videography projects; and project-managing all external communication needs.
Strong verbal and written communications skills and a cooperative team attitude are necessary. Additionally, an undergraduate degree in a communications field (public relations, advertising, journalism or marketing) or meaningful experience in communications is preferred.
