Safe House Program

HOUSE MENTORS JOB DESCRIPTION

The Magnolia Program is a family-first model of care that engages, equips, and empowers residents to claim total freedom over the effects of trauma while meeting the needs of the whole child in a trauma-informed environment. The program is long-term, and the child client will be kept for a minimum of 12 months or up until 18 years of age, which may mean years with the Path2freedom program.

The live-in House Mentors serve as the parenting adults in the Magnolia Safe ‘Home’ for minor girls, ages 13-17, who have been identified as survivors of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC).

Path2Freedom is a Christian faith-based organization and trusts in the provisions and guidance and power of God. We are ‘not’ aggressive in our evangelism of our faith, but rather, believe in “lifestyle evangelism” through the “modeling of unconditional love of Christ” for the girls. We strive to live our faith, versus preaching our faith.”
