Creekside Community Church is searching for a new Minister of Worship to join our leadership team. Our former Associate Pastor of Youth and Worship has moved into the role of Senior Pastor, so we are in a position to bring in someone new!
As far as style, we would describe our worship services as upbeat and blended. Most Sundays we sing a couple songs in the style of Chris Tomlin and/or Hillsong. Our own rural flair is reflected in throwing in some songs that have a folk feel—in the style of Rend Collective or Crowder. Finally, we like to incorporate a hymn once every couple of weeks. That said, we are open to someone leading the way forward in terms of introducing our congregation to new songs, and we expect our next worship leader to help our team expand both technically and stylistically. We have a strong team of volunteer musicians and singers who work well together.
At this time, we are offering this position as a 10-15 hour/week salaried position. As such, this would be the perfect job for either a current student, or someone who is willing to serve in a bi-vocational role for the time being.
