Position Summary: 


The Mission Team Coordinator provides on-the-ground logistical and administrative support for visiting mission groups. From prepping housing and supplies to coordinating with BLOC programs and troubleshooting throughout the week, this role helps keep everything running smoothly. The Coordinator is present at all key projects and events, manages scheduling and communication, and ensures each team has what they need to serve effectively. This position also helps create the weekly itinerary and supports the mission staff with planning, documentation, and follow-up.


Key Responsibilities

Pre-Trip & Preparation

  • Communicate with groups before arrival
  • Recruit and lead volunteers to help prepare the house at the start of the season
  • Coordinate with BLOC staff and partners about upcoming projects, training, and logistics
  • Reserve locations for training and communicate dates with facilitators
  • Send payment and waiver reminders to teams 1–2 weeks prior to arrival
  • Ensure waivers are collected ahead of time or ready to distribute at arrival
  • Gather, organize, and restock house and supply boxes before each trip
  • Attend team meetings and take notes for itinerary planning
  • Finalize and print a weekly itinerary to be placed in the house and team folders


During Mission Trip

  • Be onsite for all daily projects, events, and key moments throughout the week
  • Serve as the point of contact for housing needs, supply issues, or schedule changes
  • Bring and manage daily supply boxes (e.g., medical supplies, incident reports, extra gloves/goggles)
  • Help troubleshoot on the ground and support staff with communication and coordination
  • Offer relational support and help teams navigate their week smoothly


Post-Trip

  • Lead cleanup of the mission house and ensure all supplies are properly stored
  • Restock the house immediately after team departure to prepare for the next group
  • Collect and return any leftover group or personal items
  • Distribute prayer cards to team members at the end of the week
  • Feedback from mission group
  • Provide feedback to the Mission Director on logistics, needs, and improvements

  • Excellent communication skills and punctual
  • Raise Support for Salary
  • Skills in dealing with conflict resolution and time management, 
  • Skills in project management.
