Youth Pastor - Worship Pastor

Plain Church of Bowling Green, OH is looking for a man to serve in the capacity of youth pastor. He will answer to the Senior Pastor and be responsible for the following:

·        Organize Weekly Youth Service (Bible Preaching/Teaching - Ice Breaker - Game)

·        Organize Monthly Youth Activities (Bowling - Concerts - Sports etc)

·        Organize Annual Events (Camp - Youth Rallies)

·        Organize Christian Service Projects (evangelistic outreach - local missions - helps)

·        Organize and Implement Methods and Programs which create growth

·        Mentor, Disciple, Counsel teenagers

·        Life Involvement with teens at their school activities etc

·        Train and Supervise Volunteer Lay Leaders

Oversee and Lead Worship for Sunday and Special Events (select the music and rehearse the musicians)

·        Assist the Senior Pastor as needed

The ideal candidate will be married (preferred). He and his wife will be committed Christians and able to give evident testimony of their faith, be in agreement with the Statement of Faith and Doctrine of Plain Church, live a lifestyle consist with the Biblical qualifications of a pastor, and have some level of formal training in youth ministry (degree not required but preferred).

This is a full time paid position offering a salary and benefit package.
