Memorial Baptist Church of Killeen, Texas, is seeking its next Youth Pastor. MBC is an established and vibrant church family with an average attendance of 400-450 weekly. We are actively growing and engaging the community with the gospel through a variety of ministries with a focus on discipleship and relationships.
Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of an undergraduate degree and experience working with and leading youth. In addition to an undergraduate degree, a graduate or seminary degree is preferred.
The candidate will teach, train, and relate with middle school and high students, while integrating youth ministry in the whole life of the church. Additionally, the candidate should be current on software and technologies related to youth ministry, be able to organize the day-to-day operations of ministry programs, organize and plan events such as camps and mission trips, and work within a budget responsibly.
Responsibilities will include leading and coordinating various activities for grades 6 through 12. These include Wednesday evening programs, mission trips, camps, retreats and special events. The candidate will also teach compelling Bible lessons that encourage teens to desire a deeper spiritual life, build relationships by personally getting to know the youth and helping them to get closer to God, and build relationships and community within the youth group through games and activities.
Memorial Baptist Church (MBC) is looking for a Worship Pastor to join our team in Killeen, Texas. We have been in existence for over 60 years and are debt free. MBC has an annual budget of just under $1,000,000 and Sunday morning in person attendance of more than 250 in each of two services as well as an online engagement.
