Job description - Biology/Living Environment teacher will present a course designed to provide students with an awareness of the natural world God created: basic scientific concepts, stimulation of inductive reasoning, and a basic understanding of biological processes and generalizations. Topics included in this course are biochemistry, human physiology, reproduction and development, genetics, and ecology. The NYS Regents is the final exam for this course.


Representative duties - Teacher will plan, implement, and evaluate labs and lessons to cover the NYS standards and requirements for Regents Biology. 


Initial qualifications - Individual must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in biology or related field. Demonstrated success in teaching biology with laboratory experiences, preferably at the honors, AP, or college level. Evidence of laboratory/research experience and continued professional development is desired.
